Professional Perspective & Purpose

Herb Life Advisory was shaped by both personal experience and professional practice within the regulated cannabis industry.

Michael entered the cannabis space as both a patient and a professional, guided by firsthand experience with long‑term pain management and a commitment to patient‑centered education. At a young age, he sustained a serious spinal injury resulting in multiple compressed vertebrae in his lower back. While mobility was eventually restored, chronic pain persisted throughout much of his adolescence and early adulthood.

Over time, cannabis provided meaningful symptom relief and functional support when other options proved limited. Years later, following an acute orthopedic injury, cannabis again served as a primary method of pain management. During this period, opioid medication was prescribed but ultimately not incorporated into recovery. Cannabis offered an effective alternative without the risks associated with long‑term opioid use, reinforcing the importance of informed, patient‑driven decision‑making.

These experiences informed Michael’s decision to pursue work in the regulated cannabis industry. Having worked in multiple licensed dispensaries, he brings a dual perspective: that of an individual with lived experience navigating pain, and that of an industry professional committed to education, responsibility, and compliance.

This work is grounded in the belief that cannabis, when approached thoughtfully and ethically, can serve as a valuable educational and wellness tool. Herb Life Advisory is dedicated to helping individuals make informed decisions, reducing stigma through education, and supporting standards that prioritize safety, transparency, and dignity.
